About me

I have to tell you... I GET YOU!!!

I totally understand what you are going through and how frustrated, lost and sometimes hopeless you feel.

It is my passion in life to help stop this cycle of frustration in lives of those with ADHD; to help educate and support parents of children with ADHD and individuals of any age with ADHD.

I KNOW FIRST HAND it is NEVER too late... If you have the genuine desire to learn to work with your ADHD.

You CAN learn strategies to maximize your strengths in order to compensate for your difficulties.

I know I am supposed to be talking about me...

it is just so important to me to help people with ADHD who are struggling and not achieving the achievable when I know there are solutions.

Watching people who miss those sometimes simple strategies that can totally change the direction of YOUR life is something that I find unacceptable.

Okay... A little about me and my background...

I have a degree in Psychology from York University in addition to a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Seneca College.

My work experience has always been focused around children with an emphasis on those with various types of special needs with a particular focus on various behaviour management difficulties, learning disabilities, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I have tutored children with various learning disabilities and developmental delays.

For the past several years I have been working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the public school system.

You might be wondering... How can I say, '"I get you!"

Well...I grew up in a world that was full of individuals with ADHD!

I went through it all!

I lived with and experienced first-hand a family member who has ADHD.

I lived with the frustrating and sometimes serious effects on the entire family as a result of extreme impulsive and hyperactive behaviours of a family member. There were troubles at school and with the law.

There are others in my life who live with inattentive type ADHD; very intelligent, yet falling through the cracks while...

'sitting at the back of the class looking out the window hoping not to be called upon.'

I have seen and helped the underachieving, frustrated but highly intelligent individuals who kept wondering...

'what is wrong with me? Am I stupid? Why can't I do well in school, keep my bedroom/house/locker/backpack tidy and just be organized?'

If this sounds familiar to you... I may be able to help you!

Stop the frustration... give yourself a chance and get in touch with me because...

 Your only limitation

is how much action you are willing to take!

Find out how successful you can be !!
